The carefully curated selection of plant species is aligned with the functional needs of buildings and communal spaces while complementing the local environment. These plants provide shade and privacy, fulfilling both aesthetic and protective roles. The landscaping incorporates Mediterranean-style elements, such as local stone, cobblestones, and gravel, to create a harmonious, timeless design.
ONIA Hills is committed to sustainability and a deep connection with nature. We have successfully preserved over 70 wild olive trees, some of which have been growing on the property for more than 100 years, integrating them into the resort’s landscape design. We prioritize the use of local materials, with natural stone sourced directly from our building location. Gravel and stone foundations have been as well repurposed from the rocky terrain of the site itself.

A significant portion of Montenegro’s energy is already generated through renewable sources, such as hydroelectric power, and there are ongoing investments in further renewable energy projects.
